Car Got A Bit Warm Again Today!!!!!!!

So I just put in a NEW water pump today since the old one was leaking out the weep hole. Along with that about a week ago I put on a new radiator cap that I got from the dealer. After bleeding the system and verifying there was no leaks and both fans were working, I took it for a test drive. It didnt pass the 210 mark even after driving it around in very hot Phoenix weather, freeway and surface streets. On my way back to the house, once I got in the neighborhood the temp started climbing, just about to the 3/4 mark. What the hell is going on! I will pressure test as soon as I can but this is ticking me off! It has a 160* T Stat and the fans are programmed to kick on early, not sure what temp, PCM4Less tuned it. There isnt anything on this motor that doesnt have more than 15K miles on it. There is no trash blocking the flow of air to the radiator BUT over the winter I put on a B&M transmission oil cooler, strapped it right to the front of the A/C condenser, but I read thats where most people put them. ANY IDEAS???????????????

Have you tried bleeding the system again?? It took about 3 times for my 93Z, before I got out all the air...

What is the procedure for bleeding the system after I have initially done the steps on Shoeboxs site? Do I drive it, let it COMPLETELY COOL DOWN, then start it again and wait for the T STAT to open and then open the bleeder screws, and then repeat and repeat and repeat......? Please do let me know what you guys are doing that maybe I'm not. Initially I cracked open the bleeder screws, filled up the radiator to the neck, closed the screws, waited for t stat to open, then opened the screws again to let any air out. When it was really hot when I got home the first time I cracked open those screws with it still running and that coolant was just spraying out like no tomorrow!!!!

Check the coolant level in the radiator after it's cooled down. Add coolant if necessary.

Sorry I have to ask this and you can laugh, "cool down" is at what temp? 160*, 180*? I am real impatient and maybe I am checking everything to soon.

Let it cool overnight and check it first thing in the morning before starting the engine.
