When at wot the thing runs rapped, how ever some thing after wards makes a ton of racket, yet to figure what it is. My question is, is it normal for the car to feel a little sluggish with that big of a converter? It revs more now and you can tell when it shifts more than before.

Nah, driving around town it was ok, if it wasnt seated right the car wouldnt have gotten me home, I'm sure some thing is loose some were or some thing like that, maybe a dust cover or itcould be exhaust. Converter seems to work fine.
Yes the converter will make it feel "sluggish" this is normal and why I went with a more conservative stall in my car, still runs great but not so hard to live with on the street.
Some guys think large stalls are no big deal on the street, (these same guys drag race alot and will live with an unruly and obnoxious car
) My stall is just right for me.
Cars with large stalls in them will run like a raped ape at full throttle but when you just want to cruise around its like damn this car is doggy, just put your foot down and it will not be sluggish.

LS1 guys run 2800-3300 stall in their cars and they say after a week or so of driving w/lockup you kinda forget it's there. I am going with a 2800 ACT in my firebird. Which reminds me, I need to get off my butt and go work on it

Every one tells me I'll get use to it, its cool because now I can feel the car shift and know when it shifts. With the stock converter I could easily get going and never break 2K rpm not so with the new one. It'll take some time to get used to.
