Car dyno results with small cam

Ive seen some people asking "How much horsepower do you think i have with these mods"- And i was one of them--Well here is what i have with my mods listed below, saying things were done right. There was a portable dyno at a local Firestone tire company, dont know what type of dyno it was and it was about 80 degrees in the Shreveport La. sun: 3 pulls for $60---The first pull i think i should have gotten over cuz he said it shifted gear and spiked the graph and wasnt right since it said i had 318.0 rwhp and 436.2 torque- 2nd pull was 289.4 and 310.9 torque- 3rd pull was 291.7 rwhp and 313.8 torque--i think he said my rev limiter was set at 6200 rpm. So maybe this will give others an idea of what they have, if you have similar mods. I was hoping 300rwhp Dwayne

Re: Car dyno results with small cam

you have a Pcmforless tune, which I am not bashing, but if you REALLY just wanted to get about 8-9rwhp more, it's possible with a full dyno tune, which will probably run you between $200 to $300.

Up to 10 rwhp/tq Elecitric Waterpump. http://www.ws6.com/kelley-wp.htm http://www.ws6.com/mod-14.htm . Do a search, safety failsafe's are around $50 for them.

Maybe the portable dyno isn't that accurate? I think you over 300 rwhp with what you have.

I got a graph but it just shows my power band, where it goes up with a print of each run wrote down with the max HP and Torque in print. I was thinking maybe 300 or really hoping--Doesnt a manual shift do better than autos in the HP department? I got an auto. Thanks Dwayne
