Car Doesn't Work!!

Car doesn't start at all... there is a heavy fuel aroma during cranking. We unhooked the coil wire from the opti. There is spark at the coil.

I'm about to get back outside to disconnect one of the spark plug wires and hold a screwdriver next to it to see if the Opti is giving the wires juice.

The fuses in for the "Ignition" and "Injectors" are fine... but I did notice that the "Ignition" fuse was labeled "20?" I thought it was supposed to be 10 amps?

Any suggestions on what it could be?

If there's a heavy fuel aroma I'd be really careful about holding a screwdriver near the opti and checking for spark. Wait until the area is cleared out. If the fuel smell is that strong it might be flooded.

Disconnect the PCM fuse (so the injectors won't spray), crank it over a few times. Then check for spark.

I'm going to check it in like 20 minutes or so... so the fumes will be gone... any suggestions though?

Hold the gas pedal to the floor and try cranking; this will signal the PCM to delivery less fuel (flood start mode).
