Wiring brake switch, bypass btsi?

I am running a swapped lt1/a4 into a m5 car. I have had this combo for a long time now and my tcc has never worked because there is no brake switch for the tcc input. I have the wire diagram from shoebox's site (http://shbox.com/1/1995_pcm7.jpg) and am wondering how I could wire the brake switch up.

I was considering running the 583 ltblu/blk from pcm directly to the switch (bypassing btsi) and then a switched 12v for the 39 pink wire. Would this work? Please note I do not have any of these wires in my harness (under dash) and would have to run fresh wires from pcm etc.
