Car doesn't like to start after it rains

I just had the same prolem yesterday, probably due to the same storm. My opti, wires, and spark plugs are new, the only thing that I didn't change and it has 100K on it is the ignition coil.

The ignition primary and secondary wires are succeptable to moisture and corrosion, especially on the LT1. The aluminum heads, water pump and timing cover tend to condense moisture when the car sits overnight. The coil wire is particularly succeptable to shorting to the water pump.
At night time, go start your car and look very closely at the coil wire, near the water pump. You'll probably see intermittant arcing.
Clean all primary and secondary wires with contact cleaner, and apply some dielectric grease to keep the moisture away.
During wet weather, spray off the coil, wires and opti with some contact cleaner every month or so.
The LT1 ignition has to be THE worst design ever from GM.
