Car died completely

While driving today the car lost all power....everything. the battery gauge was all the way down, lost the radio, lost power steering, A/C is completely gone. The car just died. what happened to cause this? It died in the middle of a major road....in the rain, i almost got hit by like 5 cars. Once again....what could do this???? I need to get an S2000 or something. This is rediculous.

Just random guessing, but the opti could have gotten wet, or the CAI could have sucked up water (is it open to the elements?). Not sure if the CAI theory would shut down the power though.

I would say that it is probably your alternator. If the car completely shut off and u have no power, commonly your alternator has died. Does the car not start now, not even light up any lights. If this is the case i would think you need another alternator. Has happen to me was driving and then the car completely died and had no power after that, nothing would even light up.

He lost all power.

Check your ground and also check the main wire that leads from the battery into the little red plastic box on your passenger fenderwell....mine was a bit loose and shorted everything out completely.
