Honestly I didn't realize that you were referring to the new January article as your description left me thinking you were announcing something that is up coming rather than the latest issue. I didn't see it as a "LT1 build" article but of the history, description and reference to speed pros who specialize in modified LT1 engines. So, sorry to interject.

Can we please not turn this into another LTx vs LSx debate. In 3 years something else will come along and the LSx will be old news and they will be arguing between the LSx and the LRx or whatever the next generation is. Moving along....

Hey man, no harm. I wasn't trying to be a smart@ss. Just that the purpose of the thread was to get people to contact Car Craft. Sorry, I should have said something about the article being the connection.

Well in that 3 years let those arguments happen. You'll miss these engagements once they're gone. Just be happy there's still something to argue about regarding the LT1.

I think the LT1 will be around for a long time to come. Look at the traditional small block Chevy. The carb is obsolete but there is still a ton of support for that.

Yeah, but no one argues about their power output anymore since they've been shown up by later gen. engines. Same thing will happen with the dinosaur LT1.
