Im finally got my car running after changing my 93 motor to a 94. I cahnged everthing. comp,harness massair, ect. Its still on jack stands, but when i start it the fan comes on, and stays on. then it idles fine for a min. then its eratic. i'll turn it off for 10 min. then start it, and the fan stays off, but it idles the same as before. Then i wait for a couple of hours, and the fan comes on when i first start it. I dont get it. Could it be my pcm? i tried taping on it when it was running, and nothing changed. Anyone have a clue/

how about you might of not hooked up the egr solenoid mine did that when it wasn't hooked up

 

What is there to hook up? I cant really see the egr. Is there any wires that go to it? I was going to block it off, so what i did was just cap the tube for now, but it did the same thing when it was hooked up.

 

no not that egr the egr solenoid there's i think another name for it, it's on the last bolt of the intake manifold driverside ther's a connector on it and i think a vacumm hose if i could remember right
