Car acting up at the track.

temp was 55 degress, and my mods are in my signature

my temps on my first two runs were very high from having to sit in the registration lines. first run temps in the 220 range i ran a 14.35 and there was a stumble around 5k rpms, second run was right after the first one, even worse stumble and would not shift at WOT ran a 15.1. the last run i let the car cool for an hour, temp guage read 180-190 car ran perfect and got a 13.69 trapping 100 mph. so why only at high temps would it fall flat on its face at high rpms?

anybody know why my car would act up like this??? it cant be a engine problem because that 13.69 seems really fast for the amount of mods i have done.

13.69 sounds about right to me. As far as the stunble, a coil going bad can act up as temps underhood rise. Some people think bolting the coil to the head makes this worse.

in my other post someone said that oil leaking in the intake manifold could do it. i noticed that my car does leak a bunch and i have a oil stain all around my intake.
