Car acting up......Opti?

I started up my car from its slumber to change the oil in it. I had the Trickle charger on it for a while when I hadn't driven it for a month. It started up just fine, no stumble or hesitation. After about 5 min, I put some Sta-bil in it. 20 min later, It sounded like someone had gently touched te acceleratorand kept it there for like 4 second, and then jumped down to a lower Idle, than back up again. I hopped in, and tapped th gas, and let off right away withotletting it climb the RPMs very much. When it went backdown it went to about 600-650 rpms. I tried giving it gas again, but It died. It did not throw a light yet. I treid starting i again, it stumbled for a little, then quit, I tried this 2 moe times, till the SES light came on then fashed off quickly. I thought maybe I had flooded it, so I put he accelerator all the wa to the floor. It would turn over, but wouldn't start, everyonce an a while it would bgin tostart a little, but all the electronics REALLY dimmed and it quit. It has new plugs, orignal wires (23k miles) new cat, fuel pump, and alternator. I did wash he engine with Griots, not taking a hose to it, but using a brush, nd covering the opti wih a towel. I did use the spray gloss, and tried really hard not to hit any sensors, but got pretty close to one. Any Idea's?

Sounds alot like how my car acted when an injector was stuck open, this would make sense in your situation since the car has been sitting and you put somthing in the fuel, however you should be blowing alot of black smoke out the rear, but just to rule out out, pop the fuel rail up and turn the key on.. if gas sprays out.... you know whats up, its also a good idea to monitor the fuel pressure... other wise... might try reseting the computer via battery cable.. its possible that that battery tender could have made the computer go screwy

There defenetly was a smell of gasoline in the air, like it was running rich. I might try this. Any other info would help.
