Canton road race F-body pan & splayed 4 bolt mains, now dipstick tube doesn't go in??

The dipstick tube is all the way in now. I just have to figure out how much the oiling system is going to hold. I'm assuming 6 quarts in the pan and maybe one more for the filter for a total of 7?

No, according the to tech guy I called at Canton, it's now a 6 qt system. Fill up the filter and put the remainder of the 6 qts in the pan.
