Cant Make A Churp 1st into 2nd

The title describes this. I know that tires are on their last life. Goodyear Eagle F1 GS's, but i cant seem to get a churp no matter how high rev out and how quick i pop the clutch and how hard i slam it into 2nd. Any ideas? Shouldn't the stock HP be able to lay down a nice screeeeetch?

yea you should be able too. BUt hey if you are getting that good of traction for some reason don't complain. Since you haven't had it that long, Go to the track and find out if you are running slow, or if you just have good traction.

i guess it's possible that you aren't powershifting quite fast enough.
even with my new firehawk sz50's i can get a good screch out of them on a 1-2 pwer shift.

just hold the gas to the floor and tap the clutch with your toes, push it in about 2 inches and yank back on the stick...

Talking

Clutch, what clutch? Just yank it into 2nd. (don't do this)

Well, that's the way we used to do it but that was a long time ago.... ala Ronnie Sox.

Maybe your clutch is dead? I can chirp 2nd, 3rd, and with no more than 2 people in the car I can get 4th to chirp. I'm basically stock too.

No you only have to have a drivers license. At least around here in IL.

even a stock set up should get 2nd gear chirp quite easily, and often 3rd. Even my old 4 cylinder S-10 would get 3rd.

Shift at 3500-4000rpms real fast to 2nd. This should make it spin 2nd. At least it does in mine. It will spin in 2nd when running down the track or on the street WOT but it kicks out sideways when i shift from 1st at 3500-4000rpms into 2nd gear.

I watched your vids... that thing is sick...sounds amazing. I see that you have LT's and and H pipe and true dual. How much does this end up costing? Is it possible to do true dual with everything else stock or do yo have to purchase the LT's?

I agree, your clutch is probably slipping.
