Can't get passenger O2 sensor out
Can't get passenger O2 sensor out
Is there a trick to get the passenger o2 out? I can't find a way to get enough room to swing a ratchet, with out taking out exhaust and starter. Anyone else have this problem, or how did you do it? Thanks

You could try cutting a 7/8" open end wrench down to 4 inches long, and putting a pipe up to the end of the wrench and hitting the pipe with a hammer to jar it loose.

We got mine out with an O2 socket, about 4ft (seriously) of extensions, 2 swivels on a 1/2 ratchet and a can of PB. Still only had about 1/4 turn at a time before we had to reposition.
The short wrench does sound like a good idea.

Fire wrench.. a little heat on the bung will make short work of it. I used a special tool for the job that helped a lot. basically a offset socket.

Re: Can't get passenger O2 sensor out
I would recommend removing the starter, rather than trying to wedge a wrench and your hand into that opening. I did this job last weekend, the starter is only 2 bolts and i was able to slide mine a couple inches down the exhaust without disconnecting any of the wiring.
hope this helps, Dan

+1 on the starter removal. I mean, for the PITA it's going to be to take it out, spend 5 minutes taking out the starter. It will give you tons more room. Just lay it down on the tranny lines (be careful).
