Can't get fuel line disconnected.
I can't get the larger fuel line disconnected no matter what I do so I've become pretty content that I'm going to have to cut it off. My question is how easy is it to remove the old fuel line from the fuel rails and install a new one.
Just to let you know I need to remove it because the pressure regulator bolt is stripped so I have to take it to a machine shop to get removed. It's too dangerous trying to cut it with it still attached to the car.

Do like Grip said. Insert the tool fully. Twist the fitting and pull outward. Keep the tool pushed toward the side that you are pulling off. Don't get carried away or you might break one of the clips. You will have to replace the fuel line if you do.
BTW, Grip, I am waiting to hear from you.

Is the tool engaging all the way? I have pulled mine a few times the first time I had to press the tool in kinda hard on one of the lines but it came right off after the tool was in all the way.
You might want to try and pull the whole fuel rail off and try it that way but it might get messy. But you could get a better grip on it though other than I wouldn't know.

I had trouble with one of my lines too.
The line had some tension on it from being pulled so I had to push the two lines together so that it would release the clip and I could insert the tool properly.
Mr. Shoe: You have mail sir.

The whole fuel assembly is already off. It's this single line which is keeping me from taking the whole thing off. I had a friend hold it down while I pressed in the fuel line disconnect tool. I made sure it stayed in as I pulled it off and I made sure that the fuel line was pressed down so it would engage correctly.
