Can you test an o2 sensor?

Like maybe with an ohm meter or something?

An O2 sensor can give you the right reading statically (ohm reading) but still be bad. They need to monitoring dynamically. A "healthy" O2 sensor will bounce back and forth rapidly between approximately 100mV and 800 mV when heated to operating temperature. They sit at 450 mV when cold. A slow moving sensor is signs of it dying. As O2 sensors "age" with mileage, they get coated and can't act quickly to changes in oxygen concentration. If they are high mileage O2 sensors I would just replace them even if that wasn't your only problem. You can buy GM sensors for $35 each (heated style) from Dal, Jason Cromer or Team Chevrolet.

well, I've got a pair of them from cromer with about 200 miles on them in the car now, but I've been having some problems with my headers that i just installed. One of the other guys had the same problems I'm having and he says his o2's were bad. I just wish I could check em without buying new ones I cant really afford a scanmaster at the moment so......

crazy... your the one I was thinking of. I'm just kinda hesitant that it would be the o2's because they seemed to work fine before the install and have maybe 200 miles on em. I'm gonna try some new ones on monday though....
