With the hood on?

That might be a little difficult, but anything's possible

Going through the bottom would be the easiest, but I guess you don't have access to a lift.

be alot easier with the hood off, but yes it will go in from the top. i honestly think going from the bottom takes to much time but it is easier

I don't think its possible from the top. Or it wouldn't be worth the effort.

The LTs slip in really easily from the bottom once you get the car high enough.

I just tied the headers to the side with some rope and dropped the engine in then bolted the headers up..

Okay to update this i pulled the engine from the top with the hood on and all accessories still bolted to it. What i am trying to find out is if anyone has put their engine in with the hooker LT's bolted to the block. it looks like it should fit. Just wanted to see if anyone has went that route or not.

Cool

No way in hell with the LT's on. The flanges are gonna be hitting the sides of the engine bay and you'll have to angle it at an extreme to get it to clear other things, along with having to lift it higher

I've changed mine 3 times with the lt's. I just leave them off and have 2 people hold them as i put the engine back in, when it gets low enough, i botl em up and drop it on in
