I'm not sure but I think one of the sensors in the TB has an adjustment screw, either the IAC or the TPS. Why do you ask? If everything is in good working order, there should be no need to adjust anything, the computer does it for you. In the case that you are having a rough idle, you need to find the problem, not adjust around it.

Idle speed is controlled by the computer. The throttle blade stop is mechanically adjustable, but it is not in control of idle speed.

i wouldnt mess with the screw. i think its more for taking the slack out of the throttle cable or somthing, but target idel rpm can be set with in the computer,as ''target idle rpm''i think freescan can also re set target idle.its done with a idle air controle valve and not the blades on the throttle body.i could see the screw causing a lean tip in condition.

oops! shoebox and myself answerd the question at the same time!

what does the tach read? My step kid smacked up her car( says she hit a snow bank) but said she didn't think it was too bad. I drove her car and can negotiate thru a curve to the left without turning the wheel. Not bad

I checked it and it is identical on both the 94 and 96 starts at 1000 and after warm up it goes to about 800 or 900 which sounds fine to me. Allen
