Can stock lifters handle the cc503???

I am trying to save a little bit of money on my rebuild and was wondering if I can go with stock lifters instead of paying $200+ for some new ones??? I am only going with the cc503 cam and everything else will be good stuff. Beehive springs, Chromoly pushrods, Pro Mag rockers.

Yes, they can.

If the car is very high mileage I would rethink it though.

If you can find some with low mileage, stock ones that aren't damaged will be fine. Crane or Comp replacements would be even better.
