Ok my problems started a few days ago when the car seemed like it was running on 4 cyls. i got code p0300. and heard a rattling under the car. found out my cat was blown,clogged. so i cut it out and put a straight pipe in yesterday. i drove the car to work today and it ran like **** again for a minutes after start up but then ran fine all day. well while scanning it when it is running bad my left bank short term fuel trim is going to 80 and staying there. itll come up with the throttle but then it goes right back down. now i have a misfire code and code p1380-ebcm dtc rough data unstable. What the hell does that mean!!??? somebody please tell me what this code means. this car is my only transportation right now. Thanks........

 

You got rid of the Cat, did you program out the 2ndary 02s? that could be your problem if you're still running OBDII...

Otherwise that code looks familier, I think I had it, but I can't remember what it was...

 

It is a code that occurs in the addition of a misfire code. The pcm will take info from the EB(T)CM for determining misfire. It means that the ABS detection system was not working enough for the pcm to tell if rough roads were contributing to misfire detection. You should have had P0300 with this code at the same time. The misfire is your real drivability problem.

 

yes i did also have the p0300 misfire code. its wierd the car will run fine if i let it sit for a few days. also my abs inop light has been on for like 3 weeks now. my scanner cant pull the abs codes so ill have to take it to a dealer. thanks for the info
