I bought a late model optispark from a guy for $100. I bought other parts from him too.

I told him its important to me that its acdelco. He said he thinks it is, but will take it back if I'm not satisfied.

Well I look inside it and don't see the mitsubishi embled sensor. Instead I see a one piece dark grey sensor unit.

Also, the encoder wheel can be seen wobbling as I rotate the shaft 360 degrees.

It does have 8 digit pn's stamped inside it.

Can anyone tell me what to look for to verify if its real? I suspect its a knockoff part
