can an opti be fixed?

my water pump is leaking onto it...and i can feel a miss in the car.
so im assuming the opti is going. (its not fuel pump cuz i just got it replaced)

can i just replace the waterpump and take out the opti and clean it out, or do anything to it. or will it just eventually crap out and i should just by a new one.??

keep in mind...the car still runs good, but at idle i can feel a miss.

i cant really afford to replace both waterpump and opti.
i was hopin i could just do the w/p.

I highly doubt anything is wrong with it. Just wet. Take a shop vac or similar to the vent ports or let it sit for a few days to dry out.
