Can injectors go bad.....

Can injectors go bad from just lying around not being used? I have a set that was taken out over a year ago. They worked fine when removed....kept wrapped in plastic....can anything "dry out" in them?

yes, anything that sits unused for a long amount of time can become useless. I would confirm the operational ability of them by taking them to a mechanic with the ability to flow test and clean them. Costs about $50-$60 off the fuel rail and it will give you peace of mind...

Cool

Most likely they still had fuel in them when you stored them. Over a year the fuel would gum up and turn to varnish. Taks them to a shop and have them cleaned.
