Can I use V6 springs on the front?

If I put V6 springs on the front of my T/A will it drop it? I assume it will because of the heavier engine. Just wondering if this will even work, or if anyone has done this before?

Re: Can I use V6 springs on the front?

I used to have a problem with a 3rd gen I had with V6 springs in the front. I suspect, but cannot cay for sure that you would have the same problem with a 4th gen car. It was mushy and bottomed out all the time. Even little dips in the road would cause it to hit. I ended up puting in V8 springs to correct the problem.

If you are going to replace the front springs, I would recommend getting something stiffer than the V6 springs so it doesn't bottom out so easy.
