I've never seen them done with shorties, only LTs.

Re: Can I use OTVC plug wires with shorty headers?

I've had the taylor OTVC wire set on my car for about 7 months and 15,000 miles with the Edelbrock shorties without a single problem. I used the looms that came in the kit, which work great. I haven't touched the wires since I put them on. There is plenty of clearance around the header tubes. I wouldn't think that shorty headers would be any different near the plugs than LT's, but of course I could be wrong. I can get some pictures if you want, just let me know.
