i have a 94 camaro z28 and just got a lt4 hot cam installed. I was wondering if I can use the hypertech programmer to only turn on the fans earlier and recalibrate gear changes and raise rev limitier. I plan to buy a pcmforless chip but for this week only can I use the hypertech. My car is running lean right now. Please let me know anybody. I'm not going to use the hypertech opmize spark. I just want the raise lim, cooling fans, and gear changes. Please let me know - Will these my car more lean - Mike

 

You can still use the hypertech still. Its just most people don't recommend it because it doesn't really give you more power. If you wanna use it for now go ahead but i would just wait till you get your mail order tune.
