I wanted to know if I can start it with now problems after taking off the egr tube and valve and also the air pump. I know the ses light will come on but will the car run ****ty with out getting pcmforless? Got the car back together wanted to start it to see how it sounds.

Thanks!

I guess so, if you blocked off the EGR stuff and plugged the AIR fittings.

After installing headers, I blocked off the egr tube and removed the air pump, and it runs ok. I never reprogramed my pcm, but it seems to lack power under 2k. I talked to guys at lg motorsports, and tpis, and they couldnt tell me why. They said the pcm shouldnt need reprograming. Your car should run, but you may have the same problem. Can anyone tell me if this is my problem?

I have been told that if you use some permatex ultra copper on it it wont leak. I have a thirdgen with hooker long tubes with the slip fit primary but havnt got to run the car enough to know if it is going to leak yet.
