I screwd up my speedo while putting white face gauges on, I am gonna buy another Speedo cluster but it has lower miles, can I advance the miles to match mine?

You can, but it's easier to just swap the odometer unit.

How could you mess up the odometer unit while installing gauge overlays? I understanding messing up the pins or some other things, but the odometer unit can be removed separately from the cluster. All you need to do is remove the 6 or so screws from the back of the cluster, pull the board and remove a couple of screws that hold the odo in place.. oh, and undo the odo's electrical connector. That's it.

No, it will not just roll forward. At least I couldn't do it. I once had a bad cluster and was playing with it just out of curiosity. I was able to change the values, but not to a specific number I wanted. I could go from like 50,234 to 72,546 but not 72,000 or something like that. It's a PITA to mess with these things, that's why I said swap it...
