My LT1 won't start, recently I washed the engine,that same day I was able to turn on the car but a week later it won"t start..I don't use the car. Can I read a ses code when I am starting the car or in igniton or accesories? I notice that the fans are comming on..because of the problem. 1994 Camaro lt1

 

To read codes from the PCM, using an OBD-I scanner, you have to have the key in the "on" position. Doesn't matter whether the engine is running or not.
