So I put on the intake manifold and ran the car for about 10 minutes until I realized that I didnt do a great job of RTVing the rear of the block. It started leaking oil. I am going to pull everything off.

I was wondering if I could re-use the new intake manifold gaskets that I only ran for about 10 minutes. I know it's better to get new ones everytime the manifold comes off. But these were barely used. Any suggestions?

 

I think you should do it, then let us know how it worked. That way, if I'm ever in that situation, I won't mess up my car, or waste my time.

 

 

i'de get new ones, would you rather pull the intake back off again when they leak?

 

The whole Fel-Pro kit is like $20 at autozone. I wouldn't mess around and just get a new one.

 

I believe what he meant was " There's no way in hell I would do that to my car, but I'd like to see what happens on someone elses car".
Which translates to " go buy some new gaskets"
