Can I powder coat or paint or what to cover my Springs?

Can I get my springs powder coated? or will the heat do something to them? and will the moving just flake off the coating?

or can I jsut paint them?
What is the coating that comes on them?

I know its kinda dumb, but I jsut dont like the surface rust on the springs.

Yes you can powder coat your springs....once you do this they should always remaine that way. There is nothing to cause heat or chiping to change the apearance.

Powder coating will not damage the spring...heating the spring and cutting it is useless....why not just buy a lowering kit from EIBACH or BMR ?... You will be alot happier with the ride and the pewrformance...Your car will ride really f****d up once you cut the springs...it will never feel like an F-body is soppost to.

Yes you can paint the shocks...but no one will hardley ever see the shocks compaired to the springs (if any one). your springs will be seen alot more than you'r shocks. So do your best job on tho's.
