quick question guys, and gals. i have a 96ss with t-tops its a A-4. mods are hooker long tube headers with no cats going into a slp lm, mezi w/p, stb,sfc,panhardbar,lcas,troque arm. and a vortec sq trim with 6 pounds of boost(charger wating to be installed)

what should i do xe grind i think it is 230/236 on a 114

or a vig 2800 stall converter.

also do you think i will hit low 12's with either choice.

the tire as the nitto 275/45/zr17 extremes all the way around

You sort of want the converter on that big of a cam, I mean that isn't a 305 or hot cam were you will slide with tunning. Lets put it this way, no cam, no blower but all those mods, you should do 12s n/a. Cam and converter, I can't see why that car couldn't do 11s. Just in all honesty though, sort of wait for the converter till you can afford a good race rebuild, which is about 900 providing you drop it your self and bring it to them. With the blower, that stock 4L60E might very well go out.
