Is there anyway to convert over to manual windows? Damn power motors keep dying and I'd rather have crank em up and down myself and have something reliable than something convenient...sometimes.

Didn't the 1LE Camaros have manual windows?

NO...I just hate the friggin power motors...they SUCK! But, yea...I'm puttin' her on a diet too, so this would help.

Geez I hate this 90 second delay! I thought the 45 second delay at SCFYB was bad!

 

where did you find the post on ditching the power window motors? I'm on my 3rd set of motors and it still goes up and down slow Did it mention what parts were needed. Thanks.

Yep, they do suck on these cars. You can convert but you need to find a donor car, so you can take the inside door panels, and crank setup, not sure what else you'd need.

Mine are both on their way out, drivers side is almost completely dead. What I do is help it up or down by hand, how lame

 

No, now even though I found a few posts on it, I haven't found any kind of parts list. Except the obvious, yet general, door panels and crank.

I'm gonna check with Jason Cromer when I get serious and see if there's any stock out there on 1LE parts; like door panels and stuff.

Yea, I hate pulling my window up and pushing it down, lol. I'd much rather crank it.
