I could only get the passenger side so I'll save the driver side for a rainy day.
because it cost them 26 to import them from mexico.

Try asking at you local pnuematics supplier for a dowty seal (English name) they are basicly a steel washer with inpregnated rubber that will seal fine and should cost about a dollar each

I'm from Canada so everything to do with cars cost more. They were $12 each before taxes and yes they are a dealer only item.

The dowty seals are not designed for a specific application they are a hydraulic/ pneumatic seal that will work on the steam pipes on the back of the heads on the car, you may need to shop around a bit, but they will save you a fortune

You can buy comparable seals from NAPA under part # 730-2922. Cheaper.

No, but others have found the same type seals in the "Help!" section of a lot of auto parts stores. They are typical oil/hydraulic/ac seals used in the industry.

I bought the seals from NAPA in August for $1.29 each. You will need 4 of them. The part # on the invoice is 704-1093.

I recently had to replace the passenger side seals on my 96 LT1 Vette and it was a pure nightmare to get the bolt started. Getting it off wasn't all that bad, once a bundle of electrical wires going through the firewall were moved, but starting the bolt again was a REAL PIA.

Of course, different model cars may have different issues; those were just mine.
