Can I block off inlet and outlet for heater at the water pump?

Will this affect how the pump works? Cooling issues? I want to block it at the pump....

You could pull out the pipes, tap the holes and put tapered pipe plugs in them.

I welded all of the outlets on my pump. Had the local speed shop do it, and he basically just drilled the pipe out and turned down a piece of aluminum to fit the hole and welded it in.

But i think the top oulet by the thermostat is a thermostat bypass so i've just been running a restrictor instead of a thermostat. It runs fine stays around 170-180 never hotter.

I blocked mine off using 5/8 rubber caps with adjustable hose clamps. Worked just fine.

I used a small freeze plug in place of the pipe.

I used a short piece of hose and just routed them together. But the plugged look is def cleaner looking!

Just curious: why would anyone living in Denver want to delete their heater.

Might have had a heater core burst, and it is his DD.

Good answer: why not just splice the inlet and outlet hoses together at the firewall. That way all you have to do is replace the core and re attach the hoses.

the middle size ones lol

not the big main in/outlet hose for the radiator and not the little one that goes to the tb either.

if you look at your engine bay the heater core hoses run tucked along the fender along the pasenger side, the lines turn to metal. just follow the lines along to the wp
