Where can I buy the kit, or find out info about it? I called a local diff shop and they didn't think they could.

I found this one: http://www.kdsperformance.com/gm75difrebki.html

Is this what I need to get my posi back to new?

From my understanding you can not rebuild a stock posi. If your posi is bad your best bet would be to buy an SLP takeoff posi for $99.00.

The LS1's had a rebuildable diff. The LT1's did not.

The LS1's diff is also much better IMO. I smoked two LT1 diffs like nothing and I am on my 3rd year with my LS1 diff. Many 1.6 60's and 11 second 1/4's.

The SLP take-off unit, hard to get ahold lately. When was the last time they had a Camaro to take one off of?
