Can a crossover muffler flow an opposite direction?

Ok, I was looking at a magnaflow catback exhaust and I noticed that the outlet pipe for the right rear pipe was on the left side of the muffler. But the exhaust system that I have on my car now the 2 outlet ports are on the right side. It has a new muffler on the car i was just wondering if they put it on wrong?

Thanks

Also I believe he said it was a turbo muffler

Well 1 inlet and 1 outlet are on the passenger side. The other outlet is on the drivers side. So is this backwards?

That's the same as stock. Dynomax makes a super turbo like that too, p/n 17739 IIRC
