can the cap be removed from the opti with it still on the car?
can I replaced the cap, with just the crank pully off? the pully is still on, so I cant see the opti too well. Also, can it be done with the WP still on?

you have to pull the water pump and the balancer off. If you can get the pully free of the hub, you don't have to pull the hub off the crank.

well yea everything normally would have to come off to get it out but there a few less bolts to remove by leaving it on the motor. for those who are lazy like me will go all out for this!

Not only that, it's usually much better to replace the whole thing, anyway.
