Can the 2OTL exhaust be loud as the SLP Loudmouth with only a muffler change? I’m vary disappointed with the 2OTL exhaust on my 1997 SS.

Yes I did and didn't notice much difference vary little if any.

 

I have 2OTL and with headers and cat delete it gets pretty loud... almost too loud for my likes actually and I used to have LM on my car too so I know all about that system.

Is the 2OTL, headers and deleted cats just as loud as the Loud mouth or louder? Plus which combo sounds meaner? Also, did you delete both cats or one. I’m planing on header also.

It's two outlet pipes on the left side.

CAMARO DUDE, if you want to make it loud, replace the muffler with a y pipe. Though, I can't imagine anyone wanting/needing that amount of noise on a street driven car.

Getting rid of the cats made my car noticably louder at idle, a little louder cruising, and WOT is awesome. But then agian I have a flowmaster so take it for what its worth.

Long Tubes, No cats, and a Flowmaster 2 Chamber is pretty damn loud. Hehe I made my little cousin cry when I started it. She's 3, and found that standing next to my tail pipe when I fire her up it traumatizing

If you really want it to be as obnoxious as the Loudmouth, just remove the muffler and put a straight pipe in it's place.

 

A guy across the street from me has LM on his 96 Z and to be honest with you his car might be slightly louder but it sounds real nasty... as LM generally does. Cutting off one of those large 94-95 cats is about equal in noise level increase as cutting off a stock muffler so that should give you an idea of how the car would sound after some LTs and off-road pipe.
