Well, I've recently been looking around at F-Bodys, found a 1994 Trans Am that I'm probably buying tommorow.

My father thought he could discourage me from buying a sports car if he found out how much it'd cost if I ever needed to get a new engine/mine rebuilt.

After a couple phone calls, he found a shop in town that has rebuilt LT1's for 1500 CDN, or about 1200 USD.

How's that seem for a price?

And how much is it for an LT1 in your area.

(BTW, that's if I pull the motor, give the shop my motor, and they give me the rebuilt one, I've got to put it in)

 

that sounds about right, i got a rebuilt shortblock locally for $800 usd
