Question Camshaft Swap. Am I Missing anything?

I'm in the process of gathering parts for an upcoming cam swap. Here's what I have so far.

Comp pro mag 1.6rr's nsa
ARP 7/16" rocker arm studs
Gm guideplates (8)
comp hi-tech pushrods 7.2"
comp 26918 springs, locks and retainers
comp 224/230 w/112lsa camshaft
LT4 ED timing set
Ford SVO 30lb injectors
BBk 52mm ThrottleBody
Thunder racing LT1 Camshaft swap gasket set

I will also be sending in my OBDI computer to madz28 for a tune. I will more than likely get a dyno tune next spring. Am I missing anything? Please let me know.
Thanks

I think you should order a pushrod lenght checker first. then you should order the pushrods.
BTW I'm not sure, but maybe you will need LT4 camshaft swap gasket, not LT1. Again I'm not sure, because I don't know your rest setup.

I will definately check pushrod length just to make sure. Also, the engine has no other mods. Unported heads and intake. Therefore, I figure the LT1 gaskets will work fine, won't they?

You'll only need LT4 gaskets if you have LT4 heads and intake. Why don't you get the Cloyes double roller timing set and a electric water pump? It's a much cheaper and heavier duty set and the ewp will give you 10 more hp/tq across the board.

just curious, are different pushrods necessary to run the 224/230?

Pushrod checker is good to be perfect, but most people use stock length as long as the heads and block are all still stock and you're not using anything other than 1.5 or 1.6 rockers.

stock length should be fine - my buddy through same cam and valvetrain in and we checked it out and the stock length was perfect.

other than that dont see anything off top of my head your missing besides of course fluids and misc tools to do the install.

ohh wait one crucial part your missing from the list.

BEER (of course only to be used as an anesthetic for the pain your knuckles will have)

sounds like a good list. I am thinking about tackling a cam swap on my car this winter and am either going with the same cam (224/230) or a 224/236.
