camshaft swap

camshaft swap

hey i am thinking about doing a swap this winter and i have never done this before so i have a couple questoins

1.can i do it without pulling the engine
2.what do i need to take off the bare minmum
3.and how do i keep from spinning a bearing like i hear alot of people do
4.do i need new springs or anything else new ?

1. yes
2. not sure, never done it on an LT1
3. Do a good job of the install
4. Even if you don't think you need new springs, get them anyway.
