Yep, no break in. I would go easy on the car for the first 500 miles and then change oil, just to make sure I don't end up spinning a rod bearing...

I took mine to the track about an hour after it was installed.
I put 10k on it since then and everything is cool.

did you only pick up a little better than one-tenth of a second in the quarter mile after the cam install?

The day I ran the 12.65 with boltons the DA was -1500ft and the temp was 30 degrees. My normal bolton times were 12.9@104
I would say I picked up a solid 3 tenths and with some tuning(car shifts at 5700 right now)with the stock tuning a 12.3 is possible

Standard breakin procedure.

Step 1 back out of your garage.

Step 2 DO A HELLA BURNOUT

Step 3 Cam is broke in

cool, i was gettin a little worried cause i'm finding this to be a lot of work to put this cam and headers on, i hope my car picks up more than that!
btw, i'm not saying you have bad times. i'm very impressed that you're running mid-12's with the stock heads. comparing to your bolt-on time, i expected more of a gain. sounds like a sweet ride though!
