12370847 is this the 847 cam ya keep talkin about and how do you use it in lt1 s ?? i mean the long dowel pin for the opti how do fix that?

On an old GMPP parts catalog this number is listed as a generic hydraulic roller cam. I guess it has to be specified to the retailer about the pin required.

Tell the cam company that you have an LT1 when you order the cam. They will install the correct pin for you. Too long and you will have an opti failure.

Be sure to measure the pin even if the cam company says it is correct. Save your original cam pin length to verify.

 

Crane cams now makes this cam. CALL THEM and tell them what year it's for and they should put the correct dowel pin in. Check shoebox's site to see what size you need and verify it with them. I would also measure it when you get it just to be sure.
