cams or headers?

cams or headers?

I have a 93 patriot red z28 with 39,xxx on the clock ive got mild mods right now. K&n fitler charger kit, hypertech, flowmasters and a 52mm throttle body I wanted to know the deal on cams like how much horsepower gains would i get and should i get cams or headers i just want some feedback thanks guys.

headers are definately the cheaper way and since you have a 93, if you do choose to go with a cam I would definately look into either swapping from speed density to mass air (because speed density doesnt mix well with an aftermarket cam) or getting your car tuned for the cam along with a custom burnt chip. I also have a 93 Z, and I was quit happy with the feel of my headers. I am not absolutely positive about the cam thing, but I have had friends of mine tell me that they had problems with their cams and speed density, so you might wanna ask around and check with other people on it. Hope I was of some help.
