Cammed car/converter question

Is it harmful to the transmission or engine to use the stock converter for awhile until I buy and install a new one? Will the stock converter feel sluggish off the line?

Re: Cammed car/converter question

It's not harmfull, but it could get anoying, it'll be eassier for the engine to stall when left in D, it'll feel slugish due to less low rpm torque.
