I know this guy who is making a hybrid camaro.. I didnt really think it was possible because hes using LT1 parts and LS4 electronics... i have no idea if they can go together, but heres the list of stuff he is putting in to it

When you say computer do you mean harness and all? It would be impossible due to the LT1 having a different harness from an LS1. They are totally different engines

 

What?... What is an LS4? Why would you use a '99 (LS1) computer on an LT1, which has a completely different wiring harness, ignition system, etc?....

The only thing in common between the LT1/LT4 and LS1/LS6 engine families is the fact that GM built them and that they have 8 cylinders. Otherwise, they have nothing in common. Nothing.

It is possible to put an LS1 into a 1993-1997 car since there's not much difference in the cars, but it sounds like your friend is full of crap.

Oops i thought the newer vettes were LS4, guess its LS6... but anyways, i didnt really think it was possible... i'll talk to him saturday and see what he plans on doing exactly.. but thats the list
