Question Passenger Side Window Only Works Intermittently

Hey guys,

Its a 97 TA ws6 36k miles.. My passenger side window has always been slow to go up but I never thought much of it. Anyways, tonight it stopped working right. It will go up for a second or two and then stop working. I wait a minute or two and it seems to get some power back and it will move again for a couple seconds.. Whats up with this?? Can anyone shed some light on this???
THanks in advance
Mike

The driver side window on my 94Z28 did the same thing this fall and a buddy of mine had his 97 passenger side do the stop-wait-n-go thing last month. It is caused by your power window motor going bad. Only way to fix this is to replace the motor. Takes about three hours if you do it yourself.

It's a decently simple home job, just be CAREFUL when drilling the holes to get to the rivets. WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES... I got a sliver of the door fiberglass in my eye and regretted it for a week.

They sell a Siemens replacement motor at Autozone, cheaper than GM & lifetime warranty.

3 hours???? I must be lucky, it only took 45 minutes each side.. But, I did reseach first...
