I may have a deal on a nice cam for a v6, if I get it what does it take to do an install of one? How much and what would I need to have it done or to do it myself.

Sorry for posting here but you guys know more then the v6 sections.

that does not answer my question! Well If I can get one for $50 would you pass it up?

Only thing stopping me from doing it would be the time and $$$ to do it!

 

Cam install can be expensive especially in an LT1 car becuase it usually involves either pulling the motor or pulling the front end off the car. To change my friends opti we had to pull out the radiator to have enough room to work and that was just for an opti and water pump...V6 probably has more room but probably not enough for a cam install...If you don't do it yourself I'd say several hundred dollars at least to have it put in...hopefully someone thats paid to have it done will reply and help you out a little more...
