It can be done in a couple hours, but I'd budget the whole weekend if you've never done it before...make sure you get all the tools/parts beforehand

Yep. Read the walkthrough very slowly and make sure you have everything you need. It really sucks having to run to ACE/Autozone a few times in the same day for stupid little things like a torx bit for the cam retainer plate.

Took me a week working 3-5 hours a night to do heads n cam. Def would not want to jump into this over the weekend and rush myself.

Depends on your expertise and if you run into any problems. It can take you a half-day or it can take a week. I wouldn't worry about timing, just get it done correctly.

Budget at least a weekend for your first and preferable be able to do without that car a whole week incase you find suprizes that require ordering parts. If you get it done faster great. If you need it done by a certain time and it is not that is a much bigger problem.

Yeah it would really go faster now that I know my car in that aspect now. my project slowed down when I did not have the right compressor for double coiled springs.
